Strengthens Executive Function
Executive Function skills are foundational for learning, behavior, and classroom achievement. Our pilot school studies show increased Executive Function skills in K–3 students who use CogniMoves regularly in class.

CogniMoves integrates insights from cognitive science, kinesiology, auditory neuroscience, developmental psychology, and occupational therapy into a fun, classroom-friendly tool. Students think, move, and respond to a musical beat in ways that strengthen self-regulation, attention, memory, response inhibition, and cognitive flexibility.

Teachers use CogniMoves to support students' abilities to self-regulate, ease classroom transitions, and refocus. Because activities are done as a group, they foster a socially cohesive experience where students support one another.
Stronger Executive Function and self-regulation set students up for long-term success. These skills support goal-directed behavior, persistence, and task completion, and are associated with improved math and reading outcomes over time.
Early childhood is a critical window for motor development. CogniMoves activities challenge locomotor skills, balance, core strength, coordination, and timing to music, helping students build the neuromotor foundations that support cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Fundamental motor skill development is closely tied to how children learn, interact, and regulate themselves. By pairing intentional movement with cognitive challenges and rhythm, CogniMoves leverages this relationship to reinforce Executive Function and self-regulation in ways that are engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.
